Leagal Notes
The Toy Soldier Gallery is a platform for collectors of figurines of the companies Haußer / Elastolin and Lineol - especially "military and political toys". The website includes a catalog of the known composition figures, background information (wiki) and also an archive that includes several hundred former manufacturer catalogs. As far as figures from the time of 1933 to 1945 are presented, this serves exclusively the historical reappraisal. Under no circumstances should these figures be used to glorify this part of German history.
Pursuant to Section 86a of the German Criminal Code, the use of symbols of unconstitutional organizations is generally prohibited. However, this does not apply if they are used in the context of "civic education, defense against unconstitutional efforts, art or science, research or teaching, reporting on contemporary events or history, or for similar purposes" (§§86 (3) and 86a (3) StGB).
Insofar as Toy Soldier Gallery uses the trademarks of such organizations, this is done exclusively in the context of research and reporting on contemporary events.
Use of the Toy Soldier Gallery website is permitted solely for this purpose.
